We use only the storage and access technologies described below. Optional technologies will not be used unless a valid visitor choice or an applicable legal exception permits them.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on, or read from, a device when a website is used. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts, session storage, local storage and device identifiers. We use “cookies” as a convenient term for relevant storage and access technologies.
Some technologies last only for the browser session. Persistent technologies remain for a specified period unless deleted earlier. They may be first-party, set by this website, or third-party, provided by another service provider.
3. How we apply the UK rules
We provide clear information about the technologies we use. Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent where the legal conditions are met.
This theme does not itself load optional analytics, marketing or personalisation services. The Cookie settings control records your category choices. Any optional service added in future will be configured to respect those choices.
Consent is optional. Refusing optional technologies should not prevent access to ordinary informational content. Consent is not obtained through silence, continued browsing or pre-selected optional controls.
4. Categories used by this website
| Category | Current use and default position |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Used for core operation and to record cookie choices. These technologies operate where legally permitted. |
| Preferences and functionality | No optional personalisation service is currently configured. |
| Analytics and performance | No optional analytics service is bundled with this theme. |
| Marketing and external tracking | Not currently used. Any future advertising, profiling, cross-site measurement or social-media tracking will remain off until valid consent is given. |
5. Cookie and technology inventory
| Cookie or technology | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| allonby_cookie_consent | Allonby Capital Holdings | Strictly necessary | Stores category choices, the consent version and the date of the choice. | 180 days. |
6. Your choices
- Accept all: permits all configured optional categories.
- Reject non-essential: keeps only legally permitted technologies active.
- Manage choices: allows separate choices for preferences, analytics and marketing.
You can change or withdraw your choice, or object to statistical analytics, at any time through the Cookie settings control in the footer or the button below.
7. Third-party services and external links
This website runs on WordPress. The hosting provider may process technical information to deliver and secure the website. Fonts are supplied through Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them. Additional cookies may be used by the hosting provider or installed plugins; any optional services must be configured to respect your choices.
We do not currently embed maps, videos, social-media feeds or advertising technologies. If this changes, we will update this inventory and apply consent controls where required.
An ordinary link to an external website does not itself mean that the external website’s cookies are set on this website. External websites operate under their own notices.
8. Retention and consent records
The consent cookie is retained for 180 days. We may request a fresh choice sooner if the purposes, providers, technologies or consent version materially change.
9. Contact
Questions about the technologies or consent controls should be sent to enquiries@allonbycapitalholdings.co.uk. Include the device, browser, page and approximate time if reporting a technical problem.
For information about data-protection rights and complaints, see our Privacy Notice.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, providers, plugins, technologies, consent mechanism or law changes. The latest version will be published here with a revised date.
